A statement, still standing

We pivoted during the pandemic, and we came back different. The global pause forced us to look hard at what we were actually good at, what the market was about to need, and the distance between the two. This page has stayed up ever since — because the gap is the story, not the comeback.

The gap, plainly

We did not pause and come back the same.
We came back with a second half.

Plenty of agencies quietly rewrote their history after 2020. We would rather show the distance — what we were before, what stopped, and what we deliberately built on the way back.

Before — up to 2019

A marketing and creative shop

Websites, film, photography, campaigns. Good work for people who came by referral, in a market where being found was most of the job and being safe was somebody else's department.

The stop — 2020

Projects froze. So did the assumptions.

Clients postponed, budgets vanished, and the reflex was to wait it out. The more useful question was harder: if the work came back tomorrow, would it be the same work? It would not.

The pivot — 2021 onward

Everything moved online at once, exposed

Whole organizations went remote in a fortnight on consumer tools and unpatched laptops. Reported cybercrime complaints to the FBI roughly quadrupled in the first months of the pandemic. Our clients were suddenly more visible than ever — and more reachable than ever. Nobody was selling them both halves.

Now

Grow and Protect, run as one job

We added a security practice rather than a security upsell, and built a framework that measures both sides against each other. The peacock and the lion below are not decoration. They are the two halves, and they have been on this page since the day we relaunched.

The Redefine Logic peacock, rising from smoke and fire
The peacock — visibility

Being seen was
never the easy half.

The peacock is the loudest bird in the room on purpose. It does not apologise for being noticed, and it does not survive by hiding — it survives by being impossible to ignore and hard to catch.

That is the first half of what we do: get a small business, a nonprofit or a co-op found, chosen and remembered, in a market that got a great deal noisier the moment everyone went online at once.

Grow
The Redefine Logic lion, formed of smoke, watching
The lion — protection

The half we added
because you needed it.

The lion does not chase attention. It sits still, watches the edge of the camp, and most nights nothing happens — which is exactly what working looks like when the job is protection.

We did not add cybersecurity because it was a growth market. We added it because our own clients got dragged online overnight on consumer tools, and the people selling them visibility were not the ones picking up the phone when an invoice turned out to be fake.

Protect
What changed

Four things that did not exist here before 2020.

SMB Consultation

We call ourselves solution seekers because marketing is often the first step and almost never the only one. We will help build the wider strategy and bring partners in where we are not the right answer.

Cybersecurity for small organizations

Added during the pandemic, not after it. As organizations grow they become reachable as fast as they become findable — and the controls that matter are unglamorous, affordable, and almost never in place.

AI, built for the people we serve

Not AI for its own sake. Tooling and automation aimed squarely at small and mid‑sized businesses and community organizations — the ones nobody builds enterprise software for.

Diversity and inclusion, as engineering

Accessibility and inclusion treated as build requirements rather than a statement on a page. If the communities our clients serve cannot use what we make, we have not finished the work.

Bells and whistles do not sell value.
Showing up does.

This page has been live since the relaunch and it is staying live. Anyone can claim they adapted. Fewer will leave the before‑and‑after where you can read it.
