We are building.
Building for our communities.
Custom AI and automation tools, shaped by problems we kept encountering in client work and could not solve with anything already available.
Labs is our development practice, and it is open by design. We build alongside the organizations who will use the work rather than presenting finished software and hoping it fits, because the people living with a problem understand it far better than we do from the outside.
The sectors below are where we are concentrating, and each one reflects a gap we have watched organizations work around for years. Those gaps are worth closing whether or not our name ends up on the solution.
We will introduce the products once they are ready to stand on their own. In the meantime, if one of these sectors is yours, we would value your perspective now, while the work is still taking shape and your input can genuinely change it.
The sectors we are building for
Status as of September 2026Nonprofits & charities
In designThis is the sector where the distance between what is available and what actually gets claimed is widest. Six figures of donated infrastructure and a $10,000 per month advertising grant sit unclaimed by organisations who qualify, mostly because nobody ever told them it existed.
And a meaningful share of those who do claim it lose it inside a year to compliance rules nobody walked them through. We have spent years on the wrong side of that gap with clients. That is what we are building against.
Co-operatives
In designCo-ops carry a structural problem most software simply ignores: the office and the board operate in different worlds — different clocks, different information, different pressures — and the members are the ones who feel the distance.
Staff hold the operational detail. The board holds the mandate. Neither has a reliable view of the other, and member service is what quietly erodes in between. Closing that gap is the problem we are working on.
Diversity & inclusion
In planningThe earliest of the three, and we will say plainly that we are still shaping the problem rather than solving it. We have opinions. We do not yet have the right ones, and we know the difference.
If you work in this space and have a view on where the real friction sits, we would rather hear it now than guess and build the wrong thing.
All three came out of work we were already doing for clients, not from a whiteboard. We hit the same problem repeatedly, looked for something that solved it, and did not find one.
The same way we do everything else: publish the reasoning, admit the limits, and never move a number without something delivered behind it. Our assessment methodology is the template.
Take your money for something unfinished, or name a date we cannot hold. When there is a beta worth your time, you will hear from us. Not before.
Working in one of these? Or just curious?
Both are welcome. If one of these problems is yours, we want to hear how it actually shows up day to day — that is worth more to us right now than another feature idea. And if you simply want to know what we are up to, ask. We answer real questions from real organisations. No sequence, no pitch, no pretending we are further along than we are.
No mailing list, no drip campaign. A reply if you asked something, and one message when there is a beta to see.
In the meantime, the free things are genuinely free
We are not holding anything back waiting for these to launch. Everything we already know is published.
